Job summary

Murrelektronik North America is seeking a Desk Side Support Specialist to provide onsite IT help for our USA employees in Suwanee, GA. You will configure and support PCs and software, troubleshoot issues, and work with our German IT team to implement global projects.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in information systems or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of PC systems, Windows OS, and MS Office 365.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical processes to non-technical users.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for computer hardware, software, and peripherals to USA employees.
• Configure, install, and support PCs, software applications, and peripherals (printers, scanners, TVs, ClickShare, video tools).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation for recurring problems and IT processes.
• Administer local phone system (Aircall) and badge/visitor tracking systems.
• Collaborate with German counterparts and assist with global IT projects.
