Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking an Information Technology Support Engineer for an onsite role in Boston, MA. This full-time position offers benefits and requires hands-on desktop support, software/hardware upgrades, and strong AD management.

Ideal candidates will have solid knowledge of Windows OS, VPNs, Citrix and Cisco environments, plus experience imaging workstations and supporting enterprise users. Travel onsite as needed for deployments and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

2+ years of IT desktop support experience.
Experience installing software and hardware upgrades on desktops.
Experience provisioning access in Active Directory.
Healthcare/tech/managed services environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate IT assets, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory-related activities.
Provision user access within Active Directory.
Manage equipment distribution for desktops, laptops, peripherals.
Support training, knowledge creation, and documentation for desktop support processes.
Apply prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple requests.
Travel on-site as needed to support end users and installations.
Image and install workstations and required software.
