Job summary

Amazon's IT Services team seeks an ITS Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support for Amazonians in the MA/Boston area. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring secure, uninterrupted productivity and effective IT service delivery across corporate devices and services.

Responsibilities include incident triage, change management in high-availability environments, asset control, mentoring peers, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience.
2+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support in a corporate setting.
2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site, high quality, hands-on support diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Assist with triage and escalation of system or network outages to reduce downtime.
Understand and execute change management in a high availability environment.
Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on improvement projects and requirements.
Manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
Mentor and train peers and new team members.
Expand skills and knowledge of IT policies to provide accurate solutions.
Occasional travel required based on business needs.
Participate in 24/7 on-call duty for high-severity incidents.
