Job summary
United Flow Technologies in Irving, TX is seeking a Level 1 Service Desk Technician to serve as the first point of contact for IT support across UFT and its operating companies. The role manages incoming calls and tickets through ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus (SDP), taking issues from intake through resolution.
This hands-on position requires experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of hands-on service desk or desktop support experience.
- Experience administering Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 admin centers.
- Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN/remote access.
- Experience using an enterprise ITSM platform with accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support.
- Create, triage, categorize, and prioritize tickets in ManageEngine SDP.
- Own assigned tickets end-to-end and provide status updates.
- Escalate to Tier 2/3 with full diagnostic details.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base.
- Provide shift coverage including after-hours or weekend support.
