Job summary

Stream Data Centers in Texas is seeking a Desktop Technician to provide Tier 1 end-user support across Dallas and Frisco locations. You will deploy devices, support Microsoft 365 apps, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
Hands-on Helpdesk or desktop support experience.
Strong customer-service skills and clear communication.
Willingness to learn and follow security procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 support via phone, email, chat, ticket portal, and in person.
Record, categorize, and update incidents in the ITSM system.
Troubleshoot common issues with Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN, printers, and networks.
Prepare and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, and devices.
Assist with device enrollment and endpoint provisioning through Intune and other tools.
Support password resets and MFA while following least-privilege policies.
Complete onboarding/offboarding tasks and maintain asset documentation.
Escalate complex issues with detailed troubleshooting notes.
Maintain accurate ticket notes and knowledge articles.
Communicate status and resolution clearly to users.
