Job summary
Astreya is seeking an experienced IT field technician to provide on-site support across office and factory environments in Portland, OR. You will handle break/fix, deployments, and escalations for laptops, rugged devices, printers, scanners, and conference room A/V systems, guided by ITSM processes and RCA practices.
Strong Windows troubleshooting and basic networking skills are required, with the ability to work independently and create SOPs and runbooks to improve incident response and service
Qualifications
- Experience supporting laptops, rugged factory devices, printers, scanners, and A/V equipment.
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing and incident management.
- Proficient with Windows troubleshooting and basic network diagnostics.
- Experience with SCCM, IT Shop or Nexthink is a plus.
- Ability to produce SOPs and runbooks.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on onsite support (break/fix, deployments, escalations) for laptops/desktops, rugged factory devices, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V systems.
- Monitor ticket queues and assign tickets through ITSM tools.
- Perform incident management, RCA for major incidents, and drive issue prevention.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Utilize tools such as SCCM, IT Shop, and Nexthink for endpoint visibility and support efficiency.
- Apply strong Windows troubleshooting skills and basic network diagnostics to restore services quickly.
