Job summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to be the first line of support for internal technical issues on-site in Sugar Land, TX.

The role targets entry-level to mid-level professionals who enjoy hands-on problem solving and face-to-face collaboration. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps, AD/Entra ID account administration, ticket lifecycle management, and workstation setup for new hires.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT help desk or equivalent role.
• Practical ability to troubleshoot Windows OS and core Microsoft 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to onsite employees in person, by phone, and via ticketing system.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows devices and peripherals.
