nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. in Longmont, CO is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for staff requiring technical assistance. The role supports Windows operating systems, Office 365, SharePoint, and hardware, both onsite and remotely, with on-call rotation.

Requires 3+ years of hands-on IT help desk experience, an Associate’s degree or technical equivalent; A+ and MCTS certifications are a plus. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT help desk support experience.
• A+ certification is desired.
• MCTS or other IT relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides user assistance with Windows operating systems.
• Supports desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
• Maintains Active Directory and Office 365 user accounts.
• Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues.
• Documents work in Jira or ticketing system and follows up with users.
