Job summary
CompucomStaffing is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and reliable transportation.
The role is on-site and W2 only, with a comprehensive benefits package. The duties include break/fix support, IMAC tasks, installing workstations, repairing printers and POS equipment, and performing decommissions.
Qualifications
- A+ certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of hardware components.
- Strong customer service and relationship skills.
- Excellent time management and reporting abilities.
- Familiar with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
- Good communication with IT terminology explained to clients.
- Experience with POS, printers, servers, and network switches.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Provide break/fix support.
- Perform IMAC tasks.
- Install workstations and configure hardware.
- Repair printers and POS equipment.
- Decommission equipment as needed.
