CompucomStaffing in Charlotte, NC seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site IT support across multiple stores. You will travel daily within the assigned route and handle hardware, software, and connectivity issues, documenting actions as you go.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT technical support experience.
• A+ CompTIA certification required.
• Net+ CompTIA certification is a plus.
• Technical hardware experience required.
• Field service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Familiar with Windows, OSX, Linux/Unix.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Understand AC/DC and backup power concepts.
• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve issues within client scope.
• Occasionally works at heights of 20–25 ft; lift equipment training provided.
• Document actions, issues and resolutions; close tickets daily.
