Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Technology Field Services Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals to support all associates. Onsite at the Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, Alabama, this role requires strong hardware/software skills, network knowledge, and hands-on troubleshooting across IT environments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Six years' experience with computers, printers, peripherals, network hardware, software, firmware, and OS.
Ability to image/deploy, repair, or support apps in the Mac environment.
Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Installs computer hardware, software, printers, scanners, and other end-user peripherals.
Diagnoses and remediates hardware and software issues in the computing environment.
Coordinates warranty repairs, replacements, and returns with manufacturers.
Supports core network infrastructure: switches, routers, patch panels, cabling.
Records and documents tickets in IT ticketing systems.
Coordinates technology-related facility renovations and moves.
Manages computer hardware/software purchases and inventory.
Provides training and technical assistance to users.
Supports Facilities and Business Unit projects.
Guides junior technicians and promotes continuous improvement.
Travels as necessary.
Ensures cybersecurity practices and risk-management compliance.
