Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to provide onsite hardware and networking support. You will perform installs, moves, adds, and changes, test units for quality, and deliver technical assistance for computer systems and hardware.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to travel as needed. You will communicate with customers about repair steps, parts ordered, and timelines while maintaining professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• A+, Cisco, and HP certifications are highly desired.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• 1 year in field service support or similar hardware/networking role preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency and dependability.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
• Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and run/troubleshoot hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes with testing of units for quality.
• Communicate clearly with customers about steps, parts, and timelines.
• Provide technical assistance for computer systems and hardware.
• Respond to customer emails for support requests.
• Run diagnostics and maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Prioritize and schedule daily work orders.
• Develop knowledge of operating standards and procedures.
• Perform inventory management.
• Handle other related duties as assigned.
