Job summary

Pomeroy in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a part-time Regional Service Technician to manage an assigned service zone and assist other zones as needed to ensure service calls are completed within the Service Level Agreement. This role requires regular travel and hands-on IT hardware/software support in retail/office environments.

You will maintain accurate tickets, records of parts, inventory, and mileage, while delivering excellent customer service, professional appearance, and safe driving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AS/BS in a related technical field desired but not required.
• Certifications such as A+, Net+, Server+ desired.
• 1 year POS, network, and PC repair experience highly desired.
• Retail/office break-fix experience preferred.
• Must have safe driving with clean MVR and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service zone and ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain company vehicle or mileage reimbursement records when required.
• Troubleshoot and repair IT hardware/software for retail/office clients.
• Maintain inventory records and parts movement across zones.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional appearance.
• Update tickets daily with accurate notes and resolutions.
