Job summary

Sourcepass is seeking an Internal IT Engineer to manage user accounts, equipment provisioning, and assist employees with IT issues onsite at our Melville, NY headquarters.

You will maintain asset inventory, configure software, ensure network security, and coordinate with vendors. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST; salary range $60,000–$70,000. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to grow in IT operations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years technical support experience preferred
• Azure experience a plus
• Office 365 experience preferred
• SonicWall devices experience preferred
• HP devices experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proven experience as a technical support analyst or similar role
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ required within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Provision and de-provision user accounts for onboarding/offboarding
• Asset management and allocation (laptops, monitors, docking stations, webcams, headsets)
• Check hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards) for functionality
• Install and configure software per specifications
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on software and equipment
• Schedule diagnostics around employee availability
• Troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems (repair/replace parts)
• Maintain records of support interactions in ConnectWise
• Identify and document warranty issues and communicate internally
• Liaise between vendors and employees for open vendor support requests
