Vallen is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate who will operate on-site at customer locations, hands-on with inventory, vending, and VMI tasks, and collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Manager to ensure service standards.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory logging, proactive stock-out mitigation, and strong customer service, with an emphasis on continuous learning and adherence to company protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in inventory management or related roles.
• Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems and vending equipment.
• Customer-focused mindset with good communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to assess inventory levels and needs.
• Team player with the ability to work with both Vallen and customer teams.
• Self-driven with responsibility to complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Operational Fulfillment: restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs.
• Customer Interaction: assist onsite customers with inventory or tool usage questions.
• Asset & Inventory Handling: log and track inventory movements per protocols.
• KPI Awareness: monitor KPIs and support goals with manager.
• Stock Out Mitigation: identify potential stockouts and coordinate solutions.
• Compliance & Reporting: follow inventory protocols and report discrepancies.
• Collaborative Support: work with managers and coordinators on on-site strategies.
• Continuous Learning: stay current with inventory tools and best practices.
