Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate to execute on-site inventory, vending, and VMI duties. You will closely collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Manager and account teams to ensure inventory accuracy and high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in inventory management, familiarity with VMI/vending operations, and a strong service mindset. The role is on-site with potential weekend hours and safety considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of inventory management or related experience.
• Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems and vending operations.
• Strong customer-focused approach and effective communication skills.
• Analytical thinking to assess inventory levels and forecast issues.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Operational Fulfillment: restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs to plan inventory levels.
• Customer Interaction: assist onsite customers with inventory questions and tool usage.
• Asset & Inventory Handling: log and track inventory restocked or used per protocols.
• KPI Awareness: monitor KPIs and support goals with the manager.
• Stock Out Mitigation: address potential stockouts during fills with the team.
• Compliance & Reporting: follow inventory protocols and report discrepancies.
• Collaborative Support: work with managers to execute on-site strategies.
• Continuous Learning: stay updated on inventory tools and best practices.
