Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate to execute on-site inventory, vending, and VMI tasks at customer locations. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Services Manager and account teams to maintain inventory accuracy and service levels.

The role emphasizes hands-on Operations, interaction with onsite customers, and adherence to inventory protocols while supporting KPI goals and continuous learning in modern supply chain practices.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years in inventory management or related roles.
• Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems and general supply chain operations.
• Customer-facing mindset and strong communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess inventory and propose solutions.
• Team player who collaborates with internal and external teams.
• Self-driven with a sense of responsibility to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operational Fulfillment: Restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs to match set inventory standards.
• Customer Interaction: Assist onsite customers with inventory-related questions and tool usage.
• Asset & Inventory Handling: Log and track inventory movements per protocols.
• KPI Awareness: Stay aware of KPIs and collaborate to meet goals.
• Stock Out Mitigation: Identify potential stockouts and coordinate solutions with managers.
• Compliance & Reporting: Follow inventory protocols and report discrepancies.
• Collaborative Support: Work with managers and coordinators on-site strategies.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on inventory management techniques.
