Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at the Customer’s site. You will apply Electrical/Mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic and PLC-based systems.

Qualifi ed candidates have a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation, 3+ years in repairs of complex machinery, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation engineering.
• 3+ years direct experience in维修/maintenance on electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience repairing PLC-based machinery, robotics, and automation equipment (Siemens preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide preventative measures.
• Provide emergency breakdown and specialist engineering support.
• Engineer equipment modifications and troubleshoot PLC-based machinery and robotics systems.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain high service quality with customers.
