Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician in Elwood, Illinois, to provide industrial Electrical/Mechanical expertise. You will rectify electro-mechanical faults and ensure maximum equipment utilization and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, 3-8 years of relevant experience, and excellent communication skills. This role includes hands-on maintenance and emergency response at customer sites, demanding strong problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3 - 8 years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in repairs on various machinery systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/German) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults as a support technician.
• Respond to emergency calls on Customer sites.
• Train customer's maintenance team as required.
