Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical expertise on our automated equipment. You will work on-site to maximize equipment utilization, respond to outages, calibrate systems, and support customers with technical guidance.

The role requires hands-on skills, strong safety discipline, and the ability to document activities while collaborating with on-site teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Progressive maintenance experience on industrial machinery and systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls at customer sites and ensure safety procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and test precision automation equipment and PLC-based systems.
• Maintain reports, logs, and documentation; communicate progress to site management.
• Train customer maintenance teams and maintain strong customer relationships.
