Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to optimize daily operations and critical infrastructure for a manufacturing/production client. This on-site role features a Monday–Friday day shift and an opportunity to apply advanced technical expertise to support productivity and operational excellence.

You will manage, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and proactive maintenance across complex facility systems, ensuring reliability and high-quality technical support to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire and life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficient operation of systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for handling hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for operation within design specs.
• Apply standard principles to complete complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach and mentor others within the function and related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to build consensus across teams.
