Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily operations for a manufacturing client on a Monday–Friday daytime shift. This onsite role includes participation in an on-call rotation to provide essential coverage and ensure safe, reliable, and well-maintained facilities.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and assist with equipment installations, while delivering high quality service and compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing repairs, kitchen equipment support, grounds upkeep, and other routine facility tasks.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
