Job summary

CBRE seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure critical facility systems operate reliably for a healthcare client. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systems, contributing to safety and uptime.

This day-shift role, Monday–Friday, includes on-call rotation and requires 1–2 years of related experience and a high school diploma or trade school training. Proficiency with MS Office and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and follow simple procedures.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• General commercial facilities maintenance including plumbing, light electrical work, and routine building upkeep.
• Regularly inspect facility assets such as doors, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
