Job summary

Midea America Corp. in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an HR Operations Intern for on-site support across onboarding, offboarding coordination, data audits, and documentation. You will help maintain process standards and assist with budget-tracked HR logistics while balancing school commitments.

You will own a small project end-to-end and present findings to the HR team at term end, gaining hands-on experience in data quality and process mapping within a busy HR operations environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication with questions when unclear.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding coordination — scheduling, documentation preparation and follow-through on outstanding actions.
• Conduct data audits across HR systems and document discrepancies with root-cause resolutions.
• Maintain HR process documentation and SOPs for auditability and continuity.
• Track HR invoices, vendor records and program logistics against budget and terms.
• Prepare and validate reports from HR systems and escalate anomalies.
• Collect and summarize employee feedback on internal tools to inform enhancements.
• Other duties assigned.
