Job summary

Midea America Corp. in Parsippany, NJ invites an HR Operations Intern to support onboarding/offboarding, audit HR data, and maintain SOPs. You will help ensure timely processes and accurate records while collaborating with the HR team.

During 3–4 months, 20–40 hrs per week, you will own a small project from ideation to presentation, such as a data quality audit or onboarding process map. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations and data workflows.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in HR, business, IO psychology, IS or related field.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and judgment to raise inconsistencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to ask clarifying questions.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding coordination — scheduling, documentation preparation and follow-through on outstanding actions.
• Conduct data audits across HR systems, identifying discrepancies and supporting root-cause resolution with the HR Operations team.
• Maintain HR process documentation and SOPs to ensure processes and updates are captured and auditable.
• Track HR invoices, vendor records and program logistics against budget and terms.
• Prepare and validate reports from HR systems, escalate anomalies and data-quality issues.
• Collect and summarize employee feedback on internal tools to inform enhancements.
• Other duties assigned.
