Job summary

LightPath Technologies, Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Generalist for our Hudson, NH office. The role involves partnering with site leadership, supporting employee relations, and administering HRIS processes.

We require a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR generalist experience. Strong Excel and MS Office skills are preferred, with focus on data accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Three+ years of progressive HR generalist or HR operations experience.
• Hands-on experience maintaining HRIS data and running reports.
• Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding for various positions.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and recordkeeping; escalate when needed.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and judgment; manage competing priorities and confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; manufacturing or multi-site experience or HR certification preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and eligible for ITAR-related authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an accessible HR contact for Hudson employees and managers; respond to routine questions about policies, benefits, and HR processes.
• Partner with the Hudson site leadership to understand workforce concerns and local priorities; provide updates and coordinate HR support.
• Support employee relations by documenting concerns and assisting with investigations under the HR Manager.
• Help managers apply performance management, coaching, recognition, and corrective action processes; maintain documentation.
• Coordinate orientation, acknowledgments, system updates, and exit steps.
• Support on-site applicant screening and identify recruiting process improvements.
• Assist with workforce planning, retention initiatives, and partnerships with local recruiting resources.
• Administer HRIS functions: data entry, onboarding workflows, and changes; ensure data accuracy.
