Job summary

HP Hood is seeking an HR Administrator to support policies, recruitment, onboarding and benefits administration at our Concord, NH site. You will work with management to ensure compliance with regulations and to drive employee engagement.

The role emphasizes confidential handling of personnel information, effective communication, and collaboration across departments to support business goals and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• Experience in HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, benefits and payroll administration preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacancies.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation.
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation and personnel transactions.
• Trains management in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews and safety.
• Advises management on employee relations issues.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies and programs.
• Administers performance review and salary administration programs.
• Administers employee benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation and leave.
• Plan and execute employee activities to foster connection to the company and site.
• Create and post communications for employees.
• Participate in quarterly communications meetings to provide updates.
