Job summary

BR+A Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Boston headquarters as a full-time team member. The role requires handling onboarding, HRIS maintenance, I-9 processes, and maintaining employee files while fostering strong relationships across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in HR or Business, 6–10 years of HR experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with professional communication and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business.
• 6-10 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive and professional relationships with colleagues as this role interacts with employees to handle questions, requests or problems.
• Champion and facilitate the onboarding process ensuring high quality, up-to-date systems and clear connection for new employees.
• Manage digital copies of employee records and maintain HRIS with accrual data.
• Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
• Establish and maintain employee information database in ADP and/or Deltek.
• Provide HRIS support as needed.
• Assist with maintaining employee files.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Communicate with others to exchange information.
