Job summary

LightPath Technologies, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to be onsite at the Hudson, NH location. You will support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR programs, and HRIS administration, reporting to the HR Manager.

You will partner with site leadership to address workforce needs, document investigations, and ensure compliant HR practices across the site. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Three or more years of progressive HR generalist, HR operations, or related experience, including direct support to employees and managers.
• Hands-on experience maintaining HRIS data, running reports, and resolving data or workflow issues.
• Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding for a range of positions.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment-related recordkeeping; ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and judgment; ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience in manufacturing, multi-site organization, or with a professional HR certification is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Site HR partnership and employee support; act as HR contact for Hudson employees and managers.
• Partner with site leadership to address workforce concerns and coordinate HR support.
• Support employee relations by documenting concerns, gathering information, and assisting with investigations.
• Help managers apply performance management, coaching, recognition, and corrective action processes.
• Coordinate orientation, acknowledgments, system updates, and exit steps.
• Administer HRIS functions, including data entry, onboarding workflows, and reports.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with retention practices.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, leaves, training, and HR notices; escalate compliance issues.
