Job summary

Optimal Solution Company in Kentucky is seeking an Hourly Personnel Associate to join our Lima Engine HR team. You will provide dedicated service to hourly and salary employees, handle onboarding, maintain personnel records, and ensure compliance with CBAs in postings, promotions and payroll matters.

You will collaborate with labor relations and HR colleagues to support workforce planning and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience with HRIS and HR policies is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hourly and salary employees by responding to inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Assist hourly employees, management and union with labor questions and issues.
• Onboarding of new hire employees and create personnel jackets and profiles.
• Ensure proper application of Collective Bargaining Agreement in postings, promotions and payroll.
• Create and maintain records, including audit compliance.
• Input transactions for hourly records in a timely fashion.
• Build and maintain positive Union / Management relations.
• Serve as SME for policy administration as it applies to hourly personnel.
• Support manpower planning, including hiring, layoffs, unemployment, etc.
• Handle requests from OEM's legal and retirement divisions.
• Support HR Labor Relations team as needed.
