Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking an HR specialist to support employee relations, recruiting for hourly staff, and benefits administration at our Walton, KY facility.

You will walk the warehouse floor to foster positive relations, maintain files and communications, and help implement company objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws. Strong MS Office skills and 2–5 years HR experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years HR experience.
• Experience with hourly workforce preferred.
• Union avoidance experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Workday and Kronos preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to work independently to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Employee relations: complete investigations and advise management.
• Walk the warehouse floor to build relations with associates.
• Maintain associate communications boards and files.
• Support hourly recruiting with site recruiter as needed.
• Assist benefits enrollment and serve as local resource.
• Administer hourly compensation and time/attendance guidelines.
• Orient new associates and train on policies and onboarding.
• Provide coaching and information resources to staff.
• Assist in implementing facility/company objectives and process improvements.
• Create reports and presentations (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and monitor KPI results.
• Manage associate recognition programs and events.
