50 North is seeking a People Operations Specialist to support day-to-day HR needs in Findlay, Ohio. This on-site, part-time role handles onboarding, records, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries while safeguarding confidentiality.

The position requires at least two years in HR, strong communication, and experience with BambooHR. You will work with supervisors, contribute to engagement activities, and help maintain HR procedures and handbooks.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant HR or people operations experience.
• Working knowledge of HR practices with sound judgment for sensitive matters.
• Strong communication, organization, writing, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work on site during scheduled hours.
• BambooHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job postings, applications, interviews, references, and background checks.
• Manage new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, job descriptions, and BambooHR data.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and communicate with employees about benefits and leave processes.
• Respond to routine HR questions and escalate when needed.
• Support supervisors with performance documentation and training needs.
• Assist with employee engagement and professional development activities.
• Review HR procedures and handbook materials and recommend updates.
• Assist leadership with employee relations matters and investigations with confidentiality.
