Job summary

Oil-Dri Corporation of America is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to site leaders at our active mine site. This role requires daily onsite presence, with responsibilities spanning staffing, performance management, investigations, and regulatory compliance.

The HRBP will partner with management to implement HR strategies, drive teammate engagement, and support organizational goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with minimum 4 years in HR partnering.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with site management to translate objectives into HR strategies.
Improve work relationships and morale to boost productivity and retention.
Lead staffing, create job descriptions, and manage recruitment at the mine site.
Guide teammate relations, monitor performance, and conduct investigations as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and partner with legal as required.
Oversee performance management, goal setting, and development planning.
Identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
Contribute to compensation and benefits programs aligned with objectives.
Collaborate with HR team to implement policies and programs.
Develop HR policies compliant with regulations and drive data-driven improvements.
