Job summary

i-80 Gold Corp is hiring an HR Generalist to oversee daily human resource functions at Lone Tree Mine and site offices in Nevada. The role covers recruitment, employee relations, policy enforcement, training, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The successful candidate will partner with site leadership, manage onboarding, worker safety programs, and administer compensation, benefits, and leave while fostering a positive workplace culture across remote travel to multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum 5 year’s experience in Human Resources
• SHRM Certification preferred
• Intermediate computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Proficient with HRIS systems

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Facilitates employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
