Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support a 24/7 mining operation. The role emphasizes employee and labor relations, program development, and talent management within a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a background in investigations, coaching managers, and partnering with HR functions to craft effective people solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience (HR Generalist/Business Partner) required.
• Experience in employee and labor relations essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR systems required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience in mining/heavy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all HR programs align with safety and sustainability goals.
• Act as liaison between employer and employee to resolve relations matters.
• Handle employee complaints and grievances; escalate when needed.
• Conduct investigations into workplace issues; provide findings and recommendations.
• Coach managers and support leadership on people-related decisions; mitigate risks.
• Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management to resolve complex issues.
