Job summary

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Admin to join our client to support key business initiatives and contribute to the success of this role's primary objectives. This temp to hire position is located in Baltimore, MD and requires an Onsite work arrangement.

You will serve as the first point of contact for employees, handle HR paperwork, onboarding, and lifecycle activities, and coordinate performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HR, HR Admin, HR Coordinator, or related experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with employees.
• Able to answer questions and provide HR support in a professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• HRIS experience preferred; UKG/Kronos experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees with HR questions
• Answer questions about paychecks, uniforms, HR policies, benefits, and other HR needs
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees
• Handle basic employee relations questions and concerns
• Process and maintain employee personnel files
• Process HR paperwork and employee documentation
• Coordinate employee performance reviews with managers
• Assist with onboarding and other employee lifecycle activities
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Support the HR team with additional projects and responsibilities
• Escalate more complex employee relations issues to the appropriate HR team member
