Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support our corporate team in Lexington Park, Maryland. This in-person role collaborates with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and other teams to deliver timely, consistent workforce support throughout the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and discreet, with strong communication skills. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 3–5 years in HR or related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5 years equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be extremely professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support HR services for assigned business areas, managers, and employees.
• Learn each business area’s contracts, customers, workforce, and staffing needs.
• Assist with onboarding, employee integration, engagement, retention, and offboarding.
• Support employee relations, attendance, performance management, and workplace matters under guidance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, reports, and case documentation in ADP and other HR systems.
• Assist with performance reviews, compensation processes, employee development, and workforce changes.
• Help ensure actions and documentation follow company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond professionally to employees, applicants, visitors, and business partners.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Participate in business-area meetings and support initiatives and special projects.
