Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a dedicated Hospital Based Patient Advocate in Northfield, MN. This full-time, onsite role works Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, directly within hospital rooms to guide uninsured patients through financial assistance options and applications.

You will screen patients, help complete paperwork, and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure timely enrollment. Ideal candidates will have some college coursework and hospital exposure, with strong

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to maneuver throughout the hospital and patients' rooms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
• Dress code compliance with client policies.
• Hybrid positions require home internet meeting company criteria.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside to determine candidate for medical or disability assistance.
• Complete the appropriate applications and follow through to approval.
• Document cases accurately in Elevate PFS and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Maintain assigned work queue of patient accounts.
