Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through medical and disability assistance programs. This full-time, onsite role places you in hospital rooms, providing empathetic support and direct enrollment help.

You will screen patients, assist with applications, and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure timely processing and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to changing processes, systems and government programs.
• Strong oral and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and meet performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside for eligibility for federal/state programs.
• Complete and follow through on applications until approved.
• Document cases accurately in Elevate PFS and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Maintain and manage your work queue and coordinate with hospital staff.
