Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Shop Technician to perform precise repairs on heavy machinery components within a well-equipped workshop. You will ensure reliability, meet repair timelines, and document all work in DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, and Shop Time Worksheet systems.

This role requires 2+ years in heavy equipment repair, a HS diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and the ability to work varied shifts. A strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred to support technical proficiency.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair or related field; combination of education and experience considered.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Complete repair tasks efficiently while meeting or exceeding flat-rate times and maintaining low re-do rates.
• Adhere to all safety policies; foster a safe workplace for all team members.
• Accurately complete documentation: work orders, parts orders, JSA, and data systems (DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, STW).
• Diagnose mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and provide repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to communicate progress and share best practices.
