Komatsu Mining Corp. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Shop Technician to perform precise repairs on heavy machinery components inside our well-equipped workshop. You will help ensure high repair efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED with two years of repair experience; an associate degree is preferred. You’ll work with DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, and STW, and collaborate with the team to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Complete repair tasks efficiently and meet flat rate times.

• Complete work orders, parts orders, JSA, and data systems (DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, STW).
• Enforce contamination control and HAZMAT guidelines.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/reassemble, test assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide quotations and pricing estimates to customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures with diagnostic tools.
• Test and verify repairs before job closure.
• Collaborate with team to improve shop performance.
