Job summary

Komatsu invites applications for a Shop Technician in our workshop. You will perform timely repairs on heavy machinery components, document work orders, and maintain high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Familiarity with DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, and STW is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred to support technical proficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair, maintenance, or related field.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including shifts, weekends, and possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair tasks efficiently, meeting or surpassing flat rate times and minimizing re‑do work.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Accurately complete work orders, parts orders, JSA and data in DBS, SIMS, SIS Web and STW.
• Test and adjust assemblies, diagnose failures, and provide repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to communicate progress and best practices.
