Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks an Implementation Consultant II for an in-office role at our Lake Mary, FL location. You will lead discovery sessions, design system configurations, and support data conversion to maximize client value.

We value strong analytical thinking, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The role requires 2+ years in customer-facing work and 2+ years in HCM implementations, plus Excel proficiency and data

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service or customer interfacing role.
• 2+ years of HCM implementation experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Paylocity products and processes preferred.
• Strong communication and client-centric mindset throughout the implementation process.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor and ensure exceptional customer experiences during implementation for moderately complex clients.
• Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support, including system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Assist with data migration, mapping, and validation to ensure accurate data integration into the HCM software.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to payroll, HR, time, and labor.
• Review configuration with the client to ensure alignment with needs and optimal utilization of capabilities.
• Coordinate with sales, product SMEs, and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related issues, escalating critical concerns as needed.
• Provide guidance on HCM best practices, process improvements, and change management strategies.
