Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Consultant II to partner with clients on moderately complex needs, lead discovery, and design tailored system configurations that drive efficiency and value. Focus on accurate data conversion, onboarding, and proactive support across the implementation lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical and client-relations skills, with experience guiding multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. This is an on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service or customer interfacing role.
• 2+ years in HCM implementation experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Paylocity products and process is preferred.
• Client-centric approach with strong customer-focused mindset throughout the implementation process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients, ensuring exceptional experiences during implementation.
• Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support, system maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Assist clients in data migration, data mapping, and data validation for data integration into the HCM software.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to payroll, HR, time and labor.
• Review configuration with the client to ensure alignment with needs and optimal system usage.
• Collaborate with sales, product SMEs and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues, escalate critical concerns as needed.
• Provide guidance on HCM best practices, process improvements, and change management.
