Job summary

Paylocity in Schaumburg, IL seeks an Implementation Consultant II to lead moderately complex client deployments of the HCM platform. You will run discovery sessions, design configurations, manage data migration, and onboard clients with a focus on accuracy and value realization.

You'll collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver high-quality implementations, troubleshoot issues, and advise on best practices and change management, all in an in-office role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Customer Service or Customer interfacing role.
• 2+ years of HCM implementation experience preferred.
• Highschool Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Paylocity products and process is preferred.
• Client Centric Approach: Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel) and ability to adapt to new software.
• Project Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences during implementation for moderately complex clients.
• Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support, including system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Assist moderately complex clients in data migration, mapping, and validation for accurate data integration into the HCM software.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements for payroll, HR, time, and labor functions.
• Review client configurations to align with needs and maximize system utilization.
• Coordinate with sales, product SMEs and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues, escalating to appropriate teams when needed.
• Provide guidance on HCM best practices, process improvements, and change management.
