Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks an Implementation Consultant I for an on-site role in Schaumburg, IL. You will configure solutions, perform data conversions, and support clients through the transition to our Client Services team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer-facing roles, with preferred HCM implementation experience, and strong Excel skills. This position emphasizes detail, collaboration, and delivering excellent client experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a customer service or customer-facing role.
• 1+ years of HCM implementation experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternative combinations also considered.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in Excel and able to adapt to new software quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences during implementation.
• Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support as needed.
• Assist clients with data migration, mapping, and validation for data integration.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements for HCM functions.
• Review configuration with clients to ensure alignment with needs and capabilities.
• Coordinate with sales, product SMEs, and project managers to deliver quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and escalate implementation-related issues when necessary.
