Job summary

CompucomStaffing is actively seeking a Field Technician to provide end-user support and serve as the primary onsite contact for technical issues. Responsibilities include diagnosing, installing, and repairing printers and related hardware/software across multiple devices and sites.

The role requires reliable transportation, a clean MVR, and a valid driver’s license, with pay rate range of $22–$32 per hour and opportunities across several states. W2 employment supports comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epson print systems is a plus.
• Experience repairing laser and wide format printers.
• Electromechanical experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Maintain a clean workspace during and after repair.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
• Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
