Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and workstation management.
• Experience installing software, configuring devices, and resolving hardware issues.
• Strong AD concepts, security permissions, and network basics.
• Documentation and clear technical communication required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assessments of Windows 10 workstations and plan Windows 11 upgrades or replacements.
• Capture asset details, OS, installed software, and hardware configurations for projects.
• Configure and prepare Windows 11 workstations per enterprise standards.
• Install business software and drivers using approved packages and vendor docs.
• Verify connectivity to instruments, servers, file shares, and network resources.
• Coordinate with software vendors for compatibility, licenses, and upgrade steps.
• Document results and status in project tracking systems.
• Support onsite deployment activities and post-upgrade verification.
