Job summary

IPolarity is seeking a Field Support Engineer to perform on-site assessments and upgrades of Windows workstations across multiple sites. You will build, configure, and verify Windows 11 systems and related software per enterprise standards, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth deployments.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT support experience, strong Windows expertise, and the ability to work onsite at client locations in the Northeast and West regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure experience.
• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and workstation administration.
• Experience with Active Directory and network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assess Windows 10 workstations for Windows 11 upgrade or replacement needs.
• Prepare and configure Windows 11 workstations per enterprise standards.
• Install and configure business and instrument-control software.
• Collaborate with vendors and/infrastructure teams on upgrade requirements.
• Document findings, configurations, and escalate blockers as needed.
• Support post-upgrade verification with end users.
