Job summary
Canon USA is seeking a field service technician in Las Vegas to support Canon products through on-site, shop, and field visits. This customer-facing role requires a High School diploma, willingness to travel, lift 50 pounds, and a 24/7 shift pattern with some weekend work.
The position offers a competitive hourly rate with weekend bonuses, shift differentials for night shifts, and comprehensive Canon benefits. Training is provided to start and sustain excellence in customer support.
Qualifications
- Customer-facing role requiring compliance with customer policies.
- Ability to travel and complete the 120-day intro period and PDIF training.
- Capable of functioning in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
- Must take steps to obtain required security/clearances.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
- Service and repair designated Canon equipment to standards and specifications.
- Maintain knowledge across multiple product groups, including troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and manage technical information responsibly.
- Resolve escalated technical or customer service issues across assigned territories.
